Cashable LLC is referred to in this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) as “Cashable”, “we”, “our” or “us”. This Policy explains privacy practices in relation to your access and use of our mobile application (“App”), the Cashable website located at www.cashablecards.com (collectively, the “Sites”) and Cashable’s online products and services provided therein (collectively with the App and Sites, the “Service”). Any collection, use and release of information by retailers that issue and redeem gift cards using the Service are governed by the policies of those retailers.

We may need to update this Privacy Policy and we reserve the right to do so at any time.

What information does Cashable collect

We collect information in various ways when the Service is used. This information may include your name, email address, social network data, other account data, personal and demographic information.  When you sell or buy gift cards, we ask you to provide payment information, which may include payment card information (such as credit card number, type, and expiration date), billing address, and shipping address. Our payment processor will collect, store, and process your credit card and other payment information on our behalf using industry-standard security measures. Cashable does not store any payment card information.

We may also automatically collect information that includes but not limited to your Internet Protocol (IP) address, unique device identifiers, your mobile number, your device model and name, your operating system, your browser type and your activity on the Service.

Precise geo-location of your device is collected with your consent. When you use the Service we gather information with the help of ‘cookies’. They enable us to improve the Service and your experience. But you can always block, erase or be warned of cookies if you wish to do so in the browser.

This policy does not cover cookies used by our partners, tracking utility company or Service Providers (defined below).

Web beacons are small, invisible graphic images used on the Service or in emails from the Service to collect certain information and monitor user activity, such as count visits, or to determine if an email has been opened and acted upon.

All personally identifiable information is stored on secure servers.

Cashable also obtains information from other sources in addition to use of the Service. If you log in or sign up using social media account it allows us to have access to data such as your name, account information, and photos that are authorized by the social media website or app.

Referral Services

Cashable provides a referral service that allows you to invite your friends and contact to use the platform. You must give us friend’s contact information if you elect to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Service. Telephone numbers, email addresses, Facebook and other social networks are used to invite friends to use the Service. This contact information is stored in order to invite your friends to use the Service and to track the success of our referral program.

Links to Other Websites

The Service will contain links to other websites not owned or controlled by Cashable. Cashable does not have any control over Third-Party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies, web beacons or other files on your device, or collect and solicit Personal Information from you. They will have their own rules about the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information.

We Are Committed to Protecting Your Information

We are continuously implementing and updating administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, destruction or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of storing electronic information, can be 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee the security of your transmissions to us and of your Personal Information that we store.

Advertising & Analytics Services

Third-party networks may be used to display advertising within our service and across the Internet. Web beacons, cookies and other technologies are used to gather information regarding your activities on our service. We may use your collected information to provide you or others with targeted advertising based upon your or their interests.

Connecting Via Social Networks

When you log in with your social media account like Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, you can post and share information with others in your social network. Even you stop using the social media account, we will still store information from the social network that was used to access the Service.

Social Media widgets, interactive programs and cookies may collect your information. Privacy Policy of the third party sets outs your interaction with them.

Your Choices

You can email us at support@cashablecards.com to correct, update or delete any changes to your details or cancellation of the Service.

To delete an unauthorized account, please contact us at support@cashablecards.com. Cashable retains your information as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Your information will be used as necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

If you decide you don’t want to receive email from us, you can select the “opt out” provision in our communications to unsubscribe, you can email support@cashablecards.com or you can contact customer support. Unsubscribing will stop you from receiving most types of email communications, but it may not prevent you from receiving emails about orders or transactions you place through our Services or to emails in response to a specific request from you, such as password recovery. If you wish to stop receiving notifications from us on your mobile device, you can update your device settings.
